Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea Double Barrel Rye Whiskey is a premium spirit that is aged at sea, giving it a unique flavor profile. This whiskey is made from a blend of rye whiskeys that have been distilled in Indiana and Kentucky, and then blended together before being placed in oak barrels.

The barrels are then loaded onto a ship and allowed to mature at sea for several months, allowing the whiskey to interact with the salty ocean air and waves, giving it a distinct flavor. The barrels are then brought back to land and the whiskey is finished in new, charred oak barrels to further enhance its flavor.

The resulting whiskey has a rich, complex flavor profile with notes of caramel, vanilla, and toffee, balanced by a spicy, peppery finish. The ocean aging process also imparts a subtle briny note that adds depth and complexity to the whiskey.
