Description
Paul John Select Cask PX Pedro Ximénez Single Malt Indian Whisky 700mL
Paul John Select Cask PX is an exquisite Indian single malt whisky, finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks to deliver rich, deep flavors and luxurious sweetness. Crafted from six-row Indian barley and aged in Goa’s tropical climate, this whisky undergoes initial maturation in American oak casks before finishing in hand-selected PX sherry casks, imparting layers of dark fruit, spice, and velvety texture. Bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered, this expression showcases the opulence and complexity of Paul John’s Select Cask range.

“The nose is reminiscent of plum jam spread on toasted multigrain bread. The palate is rich and roasty with a rich, full-bodied consistency. Flavors of grape jam, dried dates (sultanas), mixed cocktail nuts, baking spices, and toffee are capped off by a hint of musty oak (the good kind associated with fine, mature wine that’s been kept in a temperature-controlled cellar). This is a satisfying, complex treat that would match well with nutty chocolate or a creamy cheese course.” – Amanda Schuster (92 Points)
