Old Kempton Tasmanian Small Cask The best barrels of Old Kempton Distillery are bottled Cask Strength under the Black Label.   Even rarer are the cask strength expressions. Only a handful have made it to release so far. Matured in a variety of 20 litre and 100 litre casks and bottled at natural final maturation strength. Big bold character, rich and full of flavour.

Matured in a Pinot Noir cask. Brass gold. Softly scented with ripe plummy fruit on the nose, wine-soaked pears and trace clove followed by vanilla and a touch of marshmallow. The palate hints at dried fruits and bubblegum, followed by suggestions of raspberry jube through the finish. Ends mildly tannic, with warming alcohol carrying the aftertaste. 46% Alc.Vol. Non chill filtered. 91 points
