Two years in a mix of French and American oak barrels, mostly ex-chardonnay, impart seductively rich colour, smoothness and length to this new generation brandy.
Tasting note: Matured in French and American oak barrels which previously held Chardonnay. Glossy gold. Raisins, salted caramel, dates, then drier scents of fruit toast. Starts off light, building to moderate concentration with flavours of raisin slice, dried apricot, honeycombe and warming spices. Aftertaste is relatively fleeting, woody, finely tannic. A pleasant middle-weight style. 40% Alc./Vol.
