We know what you’re thinking – “wow, isn’t this?”…Yes, yes it is. It’s officially the world’s best spiced rum*. We’ll be organising autographs later. Anyway, let us introduce you to our Rumbullion! XO – the older and wiser spiced rum in our range. The base rum of this delicious spirit is aged for a minimum of 15 years, and then the same Madagascan vanilla, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom that we use in the rest of the Rumbullion! Family are added. It’s seductive with an intense depth, which may sound like the start of an excellent dating profile. However, rather than long walks on the beach, our XO enjoys being drunk and enjoyed – which we hope you will.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: A huge hit of creamy, sweet vanilla and juicy, freshly sliced oranges. There is a mulled wine-like delivery of toasted cinnamon and cloves, with a core of well-aged rum. Aromatic notes of dark chocolate, ripe plums and fragrant oak develop in the glass.

Taste: Exceedingly thick, mouth-coating palate-entry offering up crystallised peels, Seville orange marmalade and even a hint of blackberry. Soft chamois leather and cedar wood provide a complex backbone alongside a huge dosing of cinnamon, cloves and liquorice.

Finish: Long, sparkling finish with notes of old-fashioned cola cubes and intense bittersweet orange. A final flutter of toasted oak appears on the tail.
