Balcombe Dry Gin 700ml A winemaker’s gin that includes a fascinating array of botanicals inspired by the Mornington Peninsula. These include foraged samphire, salt bush, wild fennel, Java long pepper and blood orange. Distilled by Garagiste Vintners in collaboration with The Craft & Co.
Tasting note: Mildly cloudy with thick legs. Engaging aromas open earthy, then intensely herbal in the initial whiffs. Aeration adds an enticing splash of sea shore, fresh cut cedar, lemon peel, light juniper and spice. Silky, viscous and exceptionally smooth. Mid palate evokes flavours of kelp, citrus, coriander and potpourri. Finish rounds out delicately salty, citrus-peel-fresh and impressively long. A beautifully textured, coastal inspired gin. 41% Alc./vol.
