“The nose is slightly chalky with soft jammy fruits–plums and blueberries–while in the background there’s gentle baking spices. Notes of (slightly burned) caramel syrup too, but also charred orange peel and toffee. The palate is sweet, oily and spicy. Touches of chocolate, tobacco and nutmeg, as well as cinnamon and cracked black pepper corns are also found. Whiffs of strong coffee and maple syrup are there too.
