Five Generations Barossa Valley Shiraz 2018
Five Generation was made from fruit sourced from low yield, old, and premium vineyards in the Barossa Valley.
Harvested at optimum ripeness and flavour development, the fruit is fermented on skins until tannin structure, full flavour and colour extraction has occurred. The fruit is then pressed off skins and transferred to barrels until fermentation is complete.
The wine is then transferred to a combination of used and new America and French oak barrels for maturation to gain more complexity.
After oak maturation the wine is taken from barrels, and then put in bottles for further maturation before release.
