A 12 year old from the Highlands distillery, GlenDronach, a very heavily sherried single malt. A dense, heavily-sherried dram from a distillery now producing again after a six-year layoff. A malt best suited to after-dinner sipping.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Rich, cereals. Barley, creamy, hazelnut. Oak.
Palate: Fruits, peels, buttery. Pain au chocolat, marmalade on toast, nutty.
Finish: Good length, buttery cereal, toffee.
