Johnnie Walker Black Label is a blended Scotch whisky made by the Johnnie Walker brand, owned by Diageo. It is a blend of at least 40 whiskies, with the company’s “West Coast” malts (Cardhu, Talisker and Clynelish) being the backbone of the recipe. Black Label has a distinct smoky, peaty taste, but it is also well balanced with a hint of sweetness and a smooth finish. The whisky is aged for a minimum of 12 years before bottling. It’s typically consumed neat or on the rocks, but can also be used in cocktails. The 1 liter bottle is often used to share with friends and family, and it’s a perfect gift as well.
