Maker’s Mark Private Select “Original Barracuda” Cask Strength Kentucky Bourbon Whisky is a limited edition, cask strength bourbon from Maker’s Mark. It is made using Maker’s Mark’s signature wheated bourbon recipe and aged in a combination of new American oak barrels and “Original Barracuda” staves. The staves are made from a proprietary blend of different woods, which are used to impart unique flavors and aromas to the whiskey. The whiskey is bottled at cask strength, meaning it has not been diluted with water and has a higher alcohol content. The aroma is a mixture of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak. On the palate, it has a rich, bold and complex flavor with notes of caramel, vanilla, and dark fruit. It is typically consumed neat or on the rocks, but can also be used in cocktails. The 700ml bottle size is a standard size for spirits and is commonly used for purchasing whiskey.
