A bold release from one Australia’s finest whisky Distilleries. Aged for 5 years in American Oak Ex Hillrock Bourbon Barrels then finished in French Oak blood tubs. The Whisky is not chill filtered and retains all its complexity.
Fresh vanilla, light caramel with just a hint of banana on the nose. It gently rolls on to the tongue with bright tart fruit on the palette. The finish is smooth and light on the back of the palette.
Nose: Caramel, liquorice sweet plump sultanas.
Palate: Smooth gentle light chocolate, a hint of liquorice and raisin caramel fudge.
Finish: A light sweet smooth finish with a little fruity note.
