Tasting note: [LOT L14G457] The impressive bright burnished copper colour is a pleasure to behold. Understated initial whiffs of vanilla and caramel build to savoury scents of dried corn, tobacco, hazelnut and dates amid flashes of varnish. A lush and concentrated, medium dry profile is dappled with thick sugars at mid palate; delicious flashes of creamy vanilla emerge over charry oak and pepper. Finishes prolonged, gently tannic and perfectly balanced. Evidently 10 years is where things start to get serious for Michter’s. A sensational addition to the Bourbon category. 47.2 Alc./Vol.
