Nant Port Wood Single Cask Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml)

Located in the highlands of Central Tasmania, Nant use only 100% Tasmanian brewer’s barley, with the Estate currently providing approximately one-third of its own barley needs. Recently re-packaged, their whiskies are matured in bourbon wood, French oak port wood, American oak sherry wood and (occassionally) French oak pinot noir barrels of around 100 litres. Releases are limited to approximately 250 bottles and the entire range comes non chill filtered with no colouring added.

Tasting note: Polished copper penny colour. Biscuity malt aromas are overlaid with hints of lamington and dried cranberries. Deliciously textural, the faint red berry notes fanning out in a malty burst. A real melt in your mouth experience and the pick of the latest Nants
