“The aroma shows notes of baked pie crust, gentle smoke, and light/moderate hints of vanilla. Moving on to the taste you’ll find buttered popcorn and a warm, long finish. Adding a touch of water presents a creamier and sweeter profile than without water, but also brings forth the toasted and charred oak notes as well which help from making it overtly sweet. Hints of baked apple appear from time to time. The bourbon feels a little slick on the palate, but that also helps in keeping the flavors stick around a bit longer.
