Amrut Two Continents Single Malt Indian Whisky (700ml) Produced from 100% Indian malt, this whisky starts its maturation in ex-Bourbon casks in Bangalore, situated at over 3,000 feet above sea level in the heart of South India. The casks are then shipped 9,000km to a location in Scotland—allowing a further maturation in the cooler climate. Tasting note: Amber gold. Peel heavy, mildly acidic opening whiffs. Later hints of Summer pudding. Offers flavours of cocoa, vague fruitiness and an oily finish. Beeswax, vanillan oak and warming spices carry the aftertaste. Full bodied and vivacious young malt. Non chill-filtered. 46% Alc./Vol.
