The Arran 10 Year Old Barley Batch 001 has been distilled using malted barley grown on the Isle of Arran at Bellevue Farm by the Currie family. This limited edition release has been matured in a selection of 1st Fill Bourbon Barrels and 2nd Fill Sherry Hogsheads in very similar proportions to the classic Arran 10 Year Old. It reflects Arran’s close collaboration with another dedicated island producer, bringing the provenance of its ingredients closer to home while celebrating terroir and traditional island distilling.
The Arran 18 Year Old is one of the most popular expressions in the core range and one of the oldest available. This wonderfully balanced single malt displays tremendous depth of character from the distillery. Caramelised citrus and tropical notes on a background of toasted oak create an intense, well-rounded dram with charm and personality. Crafted from a luxurious mix of the finest aged Sherry casks, this fully mature expression of Arran Single Malt is exceptional.
