Benrinnes 15 year old Flora and Fauna Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml A 15 Year old official distillery bottling of Benrinnes which is bottled by Diaego for their Flora and Fauna series. It is partially triple-distilled due to their unique distilling process. “A rich, sweet, smooth malt which sees Benrinnes’ fresh, green estery Speyside characteristics subsumed in its dark aromas.” Nose : Sweet and sherried. Fruity with a hint of smoke. Very appealing from the start. Old fruits. Grows very rich and complex. Exquisite! With a drop of water the nose improves even further. Taste : Sherried with notable leathery notes. Bittersweet. Sherry dryness with smooth episodes. Finish : Very nice. Oaky and smoky. Orange. Long, dry finish with sherry moving back and forth.
