Distilleries et Domaines de Provence 'Diamant Bleu' Pastis de Marseille Herb Liqueur 700mL Since its creation in 1898, Distilleries et Domaines de Provence has been producing aperitifs and liqueurs from Provence. We go back to the Middle Ages when the collectors of medicinal herbs became peddlers by distilling the harvested herbs. Then, in the 17th and 18th centuries, peddlers settled in various towns in the region as druggists or apothecaries. Wine and alcohol, maceration and distillation are techniques used to recover the aromas and active principles of plants and to preserve them. Today this know-how is perpetuated to the delight of spirits lovers. This blue pastis is made in Provence according to a unique recipe based on star anise essence, mugwort and liquorice infusion, gray pepper, maniguette, nutmeg, clove and mace acoolats. Diluted with water, it takes on the beautiful color of the OM club, the pride of the people of Marseille. Alcohol Volume: 45%
