Glencadam The Reawakening Limited Edition 13 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) The "Reawakening" marks 13 years since the distillery's re-opening in 2003 after it was mothballed in 2000. 6,000 bottles were produced. Tasting note: Pale straw gold. Light to moderate fruity aromas (pear / apple), as well as pepper, vanilla, hints of peel and grassy freshness. The palate is middle-weighted, mildly waxy/ oily with delicate pear, green apple and grassy - gristy flavours. There's a flare of spice towards the crisp finish before low-key orchard fruits return. Youthful, easy drinking. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
