Komasa Gin Hojicha Japanese 500ml Produced at the 150 year old Komasa Jyozo distillery, 'Hojicha' is made by roasting green tea leaves. The process enhances their aroma while reducing the caffeine bitterness making for a less astringent tea.The other key botanical here is Japanese cypress (related to juniper). Scented with green tea cake aromas and flavours, the resulting gin offers low-key spices and mere hints of woody juniper through the brisk finish. Subtle, light and refreshing. Try it with soda.
