It is Japan's highest whisky distillery at just under 800 meters, so it's nearly made it to space. Nose: White flowers and ripe white stone fruit, with just a whisper of smoke. Palate: Fresh green apple intertwined with light smoky notes, a drizzle of fragrant honey alongside waffles with caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream.
