This batch from front to back is a great example of toasted bourbon. The nose has great notes of butter, toast and fruits. On the palate, the fruit from the nose gives off red fruit, like cherries. The palate delivers with the vanilla, caramel, and even has long buttery toast and subtle spice. The robust body hides the proof as this drinks closer to 100 proof. The finish is fruity, all spice and bright sweetness. Surprising, this has a medium tannin level, and is not very drying. The sweet oak, spice and plum lingers, calling you back for more! Enjoy!
