Dry, rooty, raw beetroot-like aromas give way to bittersweet, warming notes suggesting clove, cola, smokey cardamom, rhubarb, all-spice and bitter peel. The aroma-range follows in a full-bodied, highly textural Amaro with a medley of turmeric, saffron, quinine and lemon peel-like notes. The finish is earthy, spicy, bittersweet and long.
