Introducing our next single barrel exclusive from Buffalo Trace Distillery, the "Cigar Cut".

When we originally tasted this barrel sample it was at 67% barrel proof and once we tasted the final proof at 107 we were taken away by how all the flavours were retained whilst dropping the proof.

Even at barrel proof we knew this was a special barrel as it was such as easy drinker and we kept coming back for more. The finish is just exceptional with a long subtle sweetness that is very dangerous. There's lots of fruit, lots of vanilla and absolutely no heat whatsoever making it a perfect cigar accompaniment.

Weller and in-particular the Antique 107 has a long rich history with premium cigars, most notably through official barrel-aging collaborations with Cohiba and long-standing traditions of pairing wheated bourbons with tobacco.

"Weller By Cohiba" specifically utilise binders aged in Weller Antique 107 casks, marrying the sweet caramel, oak, and vanilla notes of the 107 proof liquid with the rich cocoa and spice of the tobacco. Creating a smoke specifically engineered to complement complex Kentucky bourbons.

Like all our single barrels exclusives, we wanted to create something that has never been done before so we designed in collaborated with Sazerac Australia a bespoke gift tin for the first time ever in Australia.
